Terms of Service

Welcome to WiFi Heatmap Planner (“the App”), operated by Digital Box Studios (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the App, including all features, content, subscriptions, and services related to WiFi signal mapping, floor plan creation, WiFi heatmap generation, optimization suggestions, and related functionality.

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. App Purpose

The App is intended to assist users in analyzing WiFi signal strength, creating floor plans, generating heatmaps, and receiving optimization recommendations for residential or commercial network environments.

The App provides informational and optimization guidance only and does not guarantee specific network performance, coverage, speed, or connectivity outcomes.

3. User Content

You may upload, create, or submit content such as:

• floor plans

• home layouts

• drawings

• imported blueprints

• network-related information

• usage preferences

You retain ownership of your content.

By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process, store, and display such content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the App.

You represent that you have the legal right to upload any content you submit and that such content does not violate any third-party rights.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of the App may require payment through one-time purchases, subscriptions, or lifetime access plans.

Payments are processed through Apple App Store and are subject to Apple’s billing policies and terms.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

You may manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.

We do not directly process or store your payment information.

5. No Professional Network Engineering Advice

The App is not a substitute for professional IT consulting, licensed network engineering services, or official hardware manufacturer guidance.

Recommendations regarding router placement, mesh systems, extenders, and equipment optimization are provided for general informational purposes only.

You remain solely responsible for any purchasing decisions, installations, or network modifications.

6. Accuracy Disclaimer

WiFi signal strength measurements may vary depending on:

• device hardware limitations

• environmental conditions

• building materials

• interference sources

• operating system restrictions

• router configuration

• ISP performance

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of measurements, predictions, or optimization suggestions.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the App for unlawful purposes

• attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the App

• upload malicious, harmful, or unauthorized content

• interfere with the operation or security of the App

• use the App to infringe the rights of others

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All App content, branding, software, designs, graphics, algorithms, and related intellectual property are owned by Digital Box Studios or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the App without prior written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with or link to third-party services, including:

• Apple App Store

• cloud storage providers

• analytics platforms

• affiliate product recommendations

• hardware vendor recommendations

We are not responsible for third-party services, policies, or content.

Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital Box Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from:

• use of the App

• inability to use the App

• inaccurate WiFi measurements

• network performance issues

• purchasing decisions based on recommendations

• device compatibility limitations

• data loss or interruption

Your use of the App is at your own risk.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violations of these Terms or operational reasons, without prior notice where permitted by law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Changes become effective upon posting within the App or on our website.

Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Greece, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Greece.
